For those on a plant based journey one of the big questions many ask is “Will this diet provide all the calcium I need?” The session for May will explore the facts and  myths surrounding calcium in the diet. We will look at plant foods that give high yields of calcium and discuss ways calcium can be stored and used by the body. The recipes and food tastings this month will be high in calcium  and demonstrate how easy it is to get a diet adequate in calcium even on a plant based diet.
